Every Step: Opportunity

Every Step, Opportunity

We who are studying the Law of Attraction know the formula of success by heart: Ask, Believe, and Receive. In books such as Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, we have learned what is required. We realize that we must know what we desire; believe we can achieve it; and receive it through intuitive-based action. We also realize the achievement of our desire will–almost certainly–require countless steps, many of which will lead us through the dark territory of the unknown. This may seem daunting. However…

As we embark upon the journey toward the achievement of our desire, we are wise to remember this: Each step is an opportunity to grow in faith! Every challenge provides a chance to grow–in courage, perseverance, patience, and strength. On a superficial level, the achievement of our goal may seem of utmost importance. The goal, however, is only a symbol. On a deeper level, it is the evolution of our Being–honed by the challenges we encounter–that actually holds the greatest meaning! From lead to gold, this is the true alchemy–the transformation of our self!

Day after day, step after step, we might also keep this in mind: We cannot lose! Is this foolishness, folly, insane? Do we not know of individuals who–in spite of tremendous effort–have not attained what they desire? The business that failed; a marriage that ended in divorce; a voyage that stalled part way; a supposed cure that did not render health. Yes, such is true. All of us who reach beyond our current circumstances are not guaranteed to arrive. In the grand scheme of life, however, the following holds greater importance: That we tried! No effort is ever lost. Trite? Yes. True? Absolutely!

Dare to dream.

With heartfelt regards,
