Be a Phoenix

The purpose of this blog is to help empower people. Plain. Simple. The truth. It’s also about sharing the teachings of the Law of Attraction, for I truly believe that the quality of people’s lives will improve when they understand and deliberately implement the teachings into their life. The Law of Attraction is about learning how to dream again; how to envision and maintain positive thoughts and feelings that lead to positive change. When a person’s beliefs change, the person changes; and when that occurs, the outer reflection–what we call life–MUST also change.

Many of you are most likely aware of the myth (related in various cultures) about a bird named a Phoenix. It’s depicted as a long-living and brightly-coloured bird that was said to have died in a dramatic burst of flames. From its ashes, it was said to rise again, to fly anew, reborn–repeating this cycle of death and rebirth many times. The myth brings a powerful image to mind; and it appeals to many people, perhaps because it calls to our own deep nature buried within our souls. To rise again!

Is such an occurrence possible for us? Yes, absolutely yes! And I’m offering a way that I hope will inspire people who may have been knocked down by tragedy in life–to rise again. We don’t have to wait for life to get better on its own accord; for Fate would have us wait until the day passed forever. The technique that I’m going to share is simple but profound. I hope it will stir people to act.  It doesn’t cost a dime to implement.

A core teaching related to the Law of Attraction is that we are all One. We descended from One (Source), and all of us are individuated aspects of One. As such, we are all connected. With this in mind–believed and understood–we can easily see that the human race is like a great wave. Therefore: When we lift another human being, we actually lift ourselves. It may lend some meaning to that old saying: What goes around comes around. Of course it does…because we’re all connected!

A free but powerful way that you can lift your own life–today, now, this minute–is to lift someone else. Such does not have to involve money. A kind word, a warm smile, a friendly handshake–all have the power to lift even one person! And because we’re all connected, when we lift one person, we, begin sprouting our new wings; in much the say way that the Phoenix took flight again!

The act of giving changes how we think! Literally, it does. When we are immersed in negative thought patterns–perhaps relating to poverty, regret, hatred, guilt, lack, and disease–the simple act of giving proves to us that we still have something to offer! Such an act may be the turning point of our own transformation. By helping someone else to transform, we, too, must change. Ghandi knew it, and expressed it so well through the following quote attributed to him: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Makes good sense!

Dare to dream (and care for one another).

With heartfelt regards,
